Fiona is a down-to-earth soul who has been planning events since she can remember! Whether it was her own birthday parties, dinner parties, farewell parties, or basically any excuse to throw a party, she was busy making invitations, coming up with an agenda and curating the guest list. Not your typical planner persona, while Fiona’s brain is buzzing at 100 miles a minute, she maintains a very calm and soothing demeanor with clients that makes them feel at ease. She is also a certified yoga teacher which probably contributes to those zen vibes you’ll feel around her.
Fiona has experience planning large corporate events as well as weddings of all themes and sizes. She attended college in Ireland where she received her Honors Bachelors in Business, Economics, and Social Studies (which means she has a great mind for budgeting!). After college her career in events and marketing has taken her to New York City, California, and all around New England. She has worked in the Tech world, in the Non-Profit world, before finally working as an event coordinator at A Thyme To Cook, a renowned boutique catering company in Connecticut for several years where she met Megan and the rest is history.
Currently located in Mystic, she can often be found around town practicing or teaching yoga (hot yoga yes please), armed with either a kombucha bottle or a giant mug of tea. She loves to travel, has been to 30 countries, 5 continents and counting, and loves working on her healthy eating food blog where she makes dessert out of vegetables to serve at dinner parties or afternoon teas with friends! She also organizes semi-annual wellness retreats around the world where she finds some calm and centering to balance out the wild world of event planning.
